Nineteen people including two children were shot on Sunday when gunfire erupted on Mother's Day parade in New Orleans. Gunfire heard at about 13:45 pm when the parade passes French Street in the city, said a spokesman for the New Orleans Police Department, Garry Flot.
Ten men and seven women were shot along with a 10-year girl and boy 10 years. "The children are now in a stable condition," Flot said. He said many of the victims were hit by several bullets bouncing. Two victims had to undergo surgery.
Officers saw three suspects fled, one was described as a dark-skinned men aged 18 to 22 years old with short hair. No arrests have been made yet.
